These images are from a documentary of the Sheffield Cuttlery industry taken in the first decade of the 21st century. The aim was to catch what was left before it was gone or sanitised in a museum setting. The images include rising stars and masters who have been active in the industry since WW2. Last chance images of buildings were captured either prior to their demollition or 'restoration' as 'city living' residencies. The work has been exhibited widely including in Sheffield's Kelham Island Industrial Museum and at the now renovated Butcher Works.
